Don't know what to do

I am in my mid 30's and had a LSH with removal of my left ovary almost a year ago. At the time the doc said that he wanted to leave one ovary because of my age. I had to pick which one had the more pain to remove. He said he would take out my right ovary if I was having trouble with it. I am now having pain on my right side. After a pelvic exam with my family doctor, he touched my ovary and I about went through the ceiling. He is thinking it is either my ovary or adhesions. I am also having pain off and on as well as with intercourse. I have an appt scheduled with the ob/gyn doc to see what he says. I am curious as whether anyone has any advice about whether I should have that other ovary removed since I am so young or if anyone had anything else done to alleviate this problem. I am also having some incontinence as well. My family doc says that they could remove the right ovary and fix my bladder at the same time. I am wondering if anyone has experienced anything like this and could share their story with me. Thanks!!!

sounds familiar

I had my right ovary and fallopian tube removed due to endometriosis, and they left the uterus and left side in because i was hoping to have one more baby. I was told that if i had another child, the hormones and such would reverse any remaining endometriosis. HAHA.
I started noticing the symptoms less than a year after my son was born, he is now three and just had the surgery to remove everything else. Turned out, due to the endometriosis, what was left had attached itself to my colon, bladder and intestines and had to be all scrapped off and removed.
Sex was miserable.
I am now recovering from the surgery, it is nice not to have those little stabbing pains anymore. I am looking forward to no pain. If the pain is back and you aren't planning for anymore might be worth checking into having it all reoved.
