Vaginal Wetness and pain?

I am new to this site, so please forgive me if I am not clear. I had my first PAP at 43. I had a BSO hysterectomy and pelvic scar tissue repaired on 8/23/04 at the age of 43. I have been told by several people that my vagina should be dry. I am totally the opposite. I have lots of sticky clear/white mucous coming out with or without sexual stimulation and with an odor. It is not a yeast infection. I have to wear a pad all the time. I thought I would never have to wear one again but I was wrong. I still have lower back pain and right pelvic pain on my right side when I cough, get up from sitting. walking or hitting a bump when driving. Also, it feels if something is rubbing inside. My doctor ordered a CT scan and blood tests and they came out negative but something is not right. Am I crazy? I don't know what to do.

Vaginal Wetness and pain?

Hi there and to Hyster Sisters While I'm so happy that you've found us, I'm sorry that you did so because you're dealing with all these issues

I do not have any experience with issues you're dealing with, but did want to mention that, considering the amount of discomfort you're in, you should pursue this with your doctor and, if need be, seek a second opinion.

I'm sending lots of s your way. Please do keep us posted.

We are all individual in our reactions.

If well-meaning friends are telling you "you should be dry" then take their opinions for what they are worth - nonmedical opinions.

If its your doctor saying this, then I would followup and ask if he/she means its a problem or its just not the norm?

I agree with (((Dany))) ... given your amount of discomfort, you should talk to your doctor.

Keep us posted. Hope you feel better soon!
