March Week 5/ Monthly Wrap-Up

Bleah! The last week of March was not very kind to me. I'm glad to see it gone! I was out of town for 4 days, but well ... let's just cut the chase. Up 3 lbs! Reviewing my food journal there is no way I ate an additional 10,000 calories ... my consultant agrees it's just not possible. So no knee jerk reactions here, I'm just keeping going along with my menus and exercise.

Overall, for me March was a struggle. March Madness played a big role there. I just love watching all the basketball games and having a couple beers with DWs. I can only stand so my Miller Lite, so I do have to have a good beer now n then which tallies up to 300 calories a pint. Hey, it's all about choices, and these are mine during this particular month.

My final tally for the month .2lbs lost, basically staying even, which is usually what I aim for at this time of year.

Hope y'all had a good month!

BSQ

10.2lbs gone ... 9.8lbs to go

March Week 5/ Monthly Wrap-Up

Hi!

I had a good start to march, lost a pound, but since the easter hols started, I've sunk without trace, due to not getting a minute to myself, and my children being not old enough to be left without an adult.
I'm back in work this week, and they're going to a playscheme which operates school hours, so I'll be continuing with my 2 visits a week minimum starting from tomorrow.
Incidentally, although I didn't lose any more weight, considering it's easter, I didn't gain either, so not too bad going!

March Week 5/ Monthly Wrap-Up

This past week I walk/ran twenty miles, biked 55 miles, did my weights and other strength-building exercises, ate well, watched my portion sizes, drank enough liquids and managed to once again stay the same...

Getting tired of this plateau...

March Week 5/ Monthly Wrap-Up

Well, last week I hit a 15 year low record of 160........... however this week I seem to be back up to 165 grrrrrrr. I KNOW I didn't eat more, and I exercised a minimum of 45 minutes EVERY DAY except Thursday!!!! how could I be up 5??? the answer is that obviously I'm not.

something is skewed in the universe and I'll just have to hope it gets back to normal for next week. (I think it is just my cyclical bloat, but yuk. how irritating)....sigh.... anyway I'm feeling fantastic with the exercise.

fingers crossed for next week.

March Week 5/ Monthly Wrap-Up

Hi there!

Back from Cabo yesterday. Had a super time! Lots of margaritta's, sun and surf! Didn't go heavy on the mexican food and ate light breakfasts in the hotel room every morning!

Weighed myself this morning and stayed the same which I will TAKE!!! Even though, after ten weeks of still coughing, I plan to hit the gym tomorrow.

March wasn't great for weight loss for me. I am down 2.5 lbs. Same since starting the club. 2.5 loss.

For April, I plan to cut more white stuff out of the diet, exercise more and do some serious portion control!! I need help with motivating myself to get my rear in gear though! Seems like even though I exercise, the weight doesn't come off. Since being sick for the past two months and doing ZERO exercise, I have managed to maintain and even lose a couple of pounds. Yet, when I exercise, things stay the same too.

Hope everyone has a great week!

March Week 5/ Monthly Wrap-Up

Hi girls -

Sorry I didn't post last week - we went to Milwaukee for
FIL memorial service. It was hard and sad and complicated by SIL's behavior. A whole other story!

Anyway, I have gained 2#, so March was pretty much a bust for me. But then, it was a pretty rough month all-around, so I'm not going to beat myself up about it.

I started counting WW points again today and drinking more water and already feel better. My goal is to hit my 20# mark by June 1st.

Congrats to those who did well! Here's to a better month!

March Week 5/ Monthly Wrap-Up

I guess March was not kind.
I'm still holding steady at 150 (fluctuating a lb or so)...
I'm hoping the warmer weather will help out w/the exercise. I made it up all 14 flights of steps yesterday at work and found out that I'm the helper on my daughter's softball team. I spent an hour and a half yesterday throwing and batting fly balls....can't move today...i feel very, very old.

I've also started a herbal detox that is supposed to be very good for you system...when I did this in January, I lost 5 lbs. I need to lose about 10 more to be able to fit back into my clothes from last year...and about 15 - 20 more to be happy w/myself.

DH and I "blew up" the treadmill....now we have an exercise bike, which I like alot better anyway.

I'm resolved to cut down the chocolate and do more exercising.

Let's have a great April!!
