awaiting genetic testing results
Hi Neesey,
What tests did they do? When will your results be in?
I know this has been a long, long 18 months for you.
Please hang in there and let us know when the results are in.
XOXO

 s Neesey
I had my blood drawn for the BRCA 1 and 2. From the time I mailed my blood to the lab, to the day I got called by my dr. was just a few days shy of 3 weeks.
I was negative on both. I will be hoping for good results for you.

They drew blood for the BRCA1 & BRCA2 gene on 3/31/05. They state it takes approximately 21 days for the results to come back. I beleive it is the test to see if the breast cancer and ovarian cancer genes are present in my body and if so whether or not preventative surgeries are warranted. Not a fun place to be in these days.
