rectal pain and I am scared

hello sisters
It is almost 3:30 am and I am scared. I was sound asleep and was woken up with bad rectal pain on the left side. It lasted for about five minutes then went away. I noticed while I was having the pain I was experiencing that rumbling feeling on my left abdominal side. I have no idea what is going on, but has me very worried. I had the rectocle/enterocele repair over two months ago. Everything went fine with the recovery and have been back to work for three weeks now. I continue to have constipation issues, which is not a good thing.
I have been having weird pains in my pelvic area lately. Sometimes my pubic bone has alot of pressure and sometimes pain goes down the left side and into my buttocks. I feel fullness in my vagina off and on and sometimes feel something poking me from above. When my DH and I attempt intercourse I hurt on the top left side off and on.The last few days I have been feeling a popping sensation in my left leg when I am walking. I am to the point of being extremely scared.Everything appears to be left sided. I am glad I didn't cancel my appt. with my gyn for Monday. I know he doesn't deal with rectal issues, but can't help but wonder if any of this is from the posterior repair surgery. He is the one who originally referred me to the colon rectal surgeon, so maybe he can get me the appropriate help. I saw the nurse practioner in that c.r. office once and I had her order me tests. I had two test and one revealed the prolapses. I thought I had found my cause for the constipation, so I never went back. My Gyn did the repairs. I called and made another appt. with the because of ongoing constipation. I am scheduled for a egm and maybe other rectal tests with the nurse practioner Tuesday.I want to see the DR. there because of these issues, but am afraid I will not ever get to.The first time I went the practioner just wanted to do the fiber trial for two months, but I demanded the tests. Now I know there is more going on than just needing to add fiber.
What really scares me is my Gyn. said if I mess up my repair he would send me to this dr., because he couldn't do anything else to fix it. She can rebuild the entire pelvic floor. She is a top notch surgeon.I do feel my repair is doing good. I don't see any type of bulge on the bottom. My gyn also said complications that could arise from me messing it up could be as bad as bowel resection or a colostomy. I haven't done anything wrong, except lift some laundry bags at work. I was having all of these symptoms before then. The rectal pain I just experienced is the same pain I get if I use a suppository, which I have had to do a couple times since my posterior surgery.
I am so scared and just needed to come here to get some support.

((((Peg)))) I'm so sorry you're having such a hard time It kind of reminds me when I first started dealing with the fibroids and was bleeding all the time, was having terrible joint pains and was gaining weight for no apparent reason: I was sooooo scared.

One thing you may consider is seeing a GP who could do a total evaluation of your health situation. Sounds to me like there may be more than one thing going on and a Gyn or other specialist may not be able to see "the whole picture".

Sending tons of s your way. Hopefully the CR doctor and your Gyn will have all the answers your need. Please, do keep us posted.
