Front pouch sagging

I am new to the board... I had a abdominal Hyst done about 2 weeks ago... although the entire uterus was removed as well as the cervix ( the doc had said fibroids) uterus size of 4 mos preg...I have never been thin.. kinda chucky actually.. I was hoping my front pouch would be smaller not bigger. Is this just swelling.. or will it always be this saggie. I have always battled my weight, now cant fit into my clothes... is this normal ? and how long til it goes back to normal ??

Thanks... Diane

Front pouch sagging

I too have a pouch/fat/over weight/ Tummy..sorry it does NOT just go away.

I had a TVH...and did loose 12 pounds having the surgery. A 1 pound tumor removed...plus all theother work.

Right now your belly is swollen from the work inside you and your insicion.

I didn't have a tummy cut, so I really do not know how long that will last. But I will bet one of the other 'sisters' will answer your question.

Or try a search for 'swelly belly'/'swollen belly'...there will be lots of answer.

Front pouch sagging

I had a HUGE (gyn's word) fibroid removed less than two weeks ago - swelling and bruising currently. But I did discuss this with my surgeon pre-op and exercise can do alot (wait until the doc says you can)... failing all else there is always lipo and a tummy tuck.
