I posted about my thyroid being enlarged. Well I went to the doctor and she says I have an enlarged goiter (thyroid) with multiple nodules. She sent me for blood test for thyroid and I am scheduled for an ultrsound of the thyroid next week. She also is sending me to another Gyn. out of town, because when I had the Lap. done in Feb the Gyn I had then told my husband that everything is fine, well she got the report and it states that I have little amount of endometriosis, adhesions and scar tissue around the vaginal cuff, so she wanted me to go for another opinion. As for the complex cyst (hemmoragic) I am wondering if these cysts I am getting is from the thyroid problem. Does that seem possible and has anyone had thyroid problems and constant ovarian cysts.

Hi ((((Shel))))) I'm sorry you're dealing with all these issues

While I don't have experience with thyroid problems and only delt with an ovarian cyst once, my sister has been dealing with a thyroid gland that's been on auto-destruct mode for years. She's also dealing with recurring ovarian cysts. Furthermore, I've done a bit of research on the issue, and it does seem like either hypo or hyper-thyroidism can result in ovarian cysts. This may be something you'll want to discuss with your new gyn.

Hopefully you'll have relief and answers very soon. Sending tons of s your way.
