May Day Celebration

At 16 weeks (TAH/BSO, removal of cervix in January, no HRT), today was the day! DH deserves a medal for patience, as I was good-to-go as early as around 6 weeks, but fear/lack of desire/worry over diagnosis all stood in the way. Over the last several days I've read several encouraging posts from sisters who have had positive experiences, which I think was the first step. Then DH and I watched "Sideways" Sat. night and I woke up this morning ready for action. (In my book, this movie should definitely have won the Oscar!). DH was more than happy to oblige and I am happy to say that all systems were in great working order (in fact, even better than before), and I am hoping that repeat performances will be as satisfying. Thanks to all who shared their words of encouragment!

Hi Grayhair,

Glad to hear all has gone well for you and that your husband was indeed patient and kind enough to respect your feelings and wait.
I like you have been lucky enough to have had no problems in this area and in fact things are definately better.

I haven't watched Sideways but perhaps I'd better sounds like it must be good.

Take care and stay happy...............Karen
