it's official :)

I got my blood test results back yesterday and yes i'm going through perimenopause

At least have answers to what the heck's been happening to me the last little while. Now i'm going to do whatever I can to make it an easy journey for everybody in my house! Any tips on what I should be taking and doing to make this a "nice" journey.

I'm taking evening primrose, vitamin e and b6. I was told to also take vit d, melatonin (to help me sleep), black cohosh and omega 3-6-9 (don't really understand the numbers behind it though and they come in different configurations, if anybody can elaborate on this please do). I'm going to start a yoga and pilates class. I'm not sure what else to do though.

TIA for all your suggestions.

Hi Samantha!

Sometimes those test results can be very reassuring! At least you know it's not all in your head!

I've moved your post here to the No-Hormone Desert Oasis where others who can't or choose not to use hormones can reply to your questions.

Best of luck to you in this new phase of your life!
