Toe Nails

Just realised that I won't be able to bend over to do my toe nails after my op.

I will have to make sure I take care of them before my stay in the castle. There is no way that DP is getting anywhere near my feet. I hate anybody touching my feet.

I went and had a pedicure the day before surgery. It relaxed me.
It's time for another one.

They may not let you keep toenail polish on during surgery. It has something to do with checking circulation. Just so you know that you may wake up with naked toes.

Eager is right. They told me no toe nail polish, fingernail polish, jewelry or makeup. So you can have a pedicure but no polish it does have something to do with circulation. They look at your nailbeds.

Toe Nails

The day before I went to the castle I went and got a massage, pedicure and manicure. I was told no polish so I just got a clear polish with french tips on my toes and fingers. I got a lot of compliments and since I laid in bed and stared at my feet for a few days I was glad I got them done! As long as your nailbeds can be seen so they can monitor your oxygen you should be OK. No dark colors, stick to clear
