Uh, ok... thanks

Michelle,

Thanks for sharing that insight. This is not the first time I've heard this, but you are the second, so it's carrying some weight. My PM basically warned me about the same thing, but he made it sound more like a negative. I appreciate you saying it a bit more lightly. I know you are right, and I pray that I can get myself to a place where I feel good enough that I can motivate myself to exercise and do my PT exercises. I've let this whole thing get me completely out of shape and I've had no motivation to do anything about it. Its like I'm waiting until I feel better because if I do anything I end up feeling worse. I need to get myself to the place where I can make a promise to myself I guess you could say, and I have to make a lifestyle change and really begin exercising regularly. I ache just thinking about it! But, your point is well received, thank you.

Stacy,
Good luck with the appointment! I hope all goes well. Once you've been in pain for a long time and have been dealing with so many problems, there may not be quick answers. I have been thinking myself that accupuncture may be a lifelong endeavor for me. But as long as it helps, I will keep doing it. We do what we need to.

Finally, A Diagnosis!! Pelvic Wall Myofascial Tension

Stacy,

Well, the PT will be able to ease you into the exercises that will benefit you. When I said my friend has to exercise, I meant the prescribed movements (mostly stretches) that her PT has advised. These aren't, by the way, time consuming or painful. Its just a part of her regular routine (like brushing her teeth).

Please let us know how the appt goes!

Yes, I understand what both of you are saying...will just have to add something new to my routine, and if keeps the pain away, then that will be well worth it! Like Kim said tho I'm not sure how immediate the PT will help the pain. I can hope tho. I hope you both have a great holiday weekend. Thanks for your encouraging words!!
