Sorry, but my opinion about the cervix is the exact opposite of Michelle's. I miss my cervix very, very much and I had NO preconceived ideas about orgasms before the surgery. All I knew was that enjoyed sex very much and ALWAYS had great orgasms. What I didn't know before was that my orgasms were uterine and cervical and NOT clitoral at all. Now, of course, I am better informed and can totally match, (from memory), the past physical components of my orgasms with the body parts that were involved.

Therefore, I believe that if the cervix is an important part of YOUR orgasm and YOU get pleasure from the sensation now, then your concerns about losing this are valid and should be considered.

Definitely go for that second, or third, opinion and then weigh all your considerations carefully; based on YOUR knowledge of your body and all your treatment options.

You have some hard decisions to make... best wishes.
