husband here to say thanks!

My wife Arlene found your Web site a few weeks before her recent TAH/BSO. The support and levelheaded information that she found here made the whole experience easier for both of us. She shared with me all the tips and tricks that she learned from all of you, and the informstion has made it easier for me to help with her recovery. We both knew what to expect, what to take with us (the "suck-up kit" of candies for the nurses was a great idea), and how to handle the home coming. My thanks to everyone for making my job as caregiver so much more relaxed. My best to all of those in recovery and those facing upcoming surgeries.

Hey, Arlene and Al,

So glad to hear things went smoothly, that you both felt supported here (we all do!) and that Arlene has such a great support system right by her side.

Best wishes for a smooth healing Arlene!

Take care of her ! Make sure she gets a lot of rest and does not bend or lift ! I hope you are good at vaccuuming... (my husband does a great job). This site is invaluable. I could not have gotten through pre and post hyst without it. It sounds like you are going to do a good job making sure your wife's post hyst recovery goes smoothly.

You are quite a guy to say thanks. It sounds like you have it all together.

Take real good care of her. Fluff the pillows and rub her feet.

Take care

What a grand post to wake up and find. AL you're a sweety! Your gal is a lucky one! You brought tears to my eyes. (Must be the hormones again) Do pamper that princess of yours, and hide any SuperWoman cape she might have tucked away..... or we'll have to make you an honorary member of the pillow police!

By the way, AL?!! Remember to DILUTE the Campbell's soup before you serve it to her. My DH, the genious, couldn't figure that one out. But, it was the loving thought that counted.

Hugs to you both! And, thanks for being such a great example of REAL manliness.

What a wonderful husband you are. So tell me do you have a brother? If we can't get Lass's clone thing going we could go for close relatives. You take care of your princess and also remember to take care of yourself you can't help her if you get down.
