Life is close to normal again!

I had my 6 week checkup. Everything looked great and everything was healed up the way it was suppose to. I was told to go on with my life. This experience for me was good. Except the hospital and the nursing staff. The pain was not that bad for me anyway. I am sure I am one of the lucky ones. I was expecting the worst. I thank goodness that I am a fast healer. The sex part was a little scary at first but, now it is fine. I sure wish any lady that is going through this all the comfort and peace you can have.

I enjoy this forum. I didn't get online alot. Didn't have alot of response when I did. I really enjoyed seeing some of the things that I wondered about and just went to the messages and got alot of good information.

I hope that maybe I can be of some support to some of our hystersisters sometime. I will check in from time to time. Until than May God Bless You All........ Janet (gigi2)

Life is close to normal again!

Janet, I am glad to hear that you are doing good. My tah was a day before yours. I am still trying to get on with life, some days it is easier than others. My dh and I still havent had sex, just waiting for the right time. I have done well in the physical healing but still have some problems emotionally but am working thru them. Dr. gave me lexapro for depression and that has made a big difference. Thanks for the encouragement.

Life is close to normal again!

I'm glad to hear you are doing well. From reading your post, it sounds like you are right on schedule.

My experience has been positive and I'm glad it's over. The last remaining issue is the numbness in my lower abs, but my life is moving right along.
