I'm probably not the first one who has done this but I went on Oprah.com today and posted a show idea. I asked them to do a show on cervical and ovarian cancer awareness/information.

I think if everyone of us requested this type of show we might get some results from her show producers. Please join me in posting this request. I have a good feeling about this.

Many Thanks!

I submitted a request for the Oprah show to have a show on cervical cancer. I agree that it would be great to see a segment on her show, to hear from medical experts and survivors.

Will Try Again

I know for 2-3 years we on another board have had an e-mail campaign to Oprah to do a show on gyn/ovarian cancer. Some people have gotten the standard reply and some nothing. I even know a woman who was 19 weeks pregnant at diagnosis and had surgery then and chemo before the baby was born who sent in her story and never got a reply. But let's try Oprah again. We never know.

Will do

Hi - I'll suggest a show on gynocological cancers also. I'm amazed at how little I really knew about them. I'm even more amazed how I had something new to tell some nurses (and even my oncologist) at the Mayo Clinic after doing internet research (credible sites) about cervical cancer. There's power in knowledge.
