May week 4/Monthly wrap-up

can you believe I had to check the calendar to make sure this was indeed the last week of May! It's just been dragging for me!

Great job on the losses last week gals!!

Hiya & welcome Danielle!

As for my week/month ... well I did get to weigh-in this week, and am down 1 lb. Stress took it's toll on me this month, and probably will for a few more. Total for the month I lost .8lbs. Right now, just staying even is a big win for me, so although I would have liked to have seen bigger losses (and no gains), I'm pleased with the progress I have made to date.

i need to double check this number at my next weigh-in, I think I got off in keeping track... but it should be close!

May week 4/Monthly wrap-up

Hi all!

Well, May went by in a flash!

Did my weigh in this morning and was up 1.5 lbs. Don't have a clue why. It's the up and down game I guess. I can't let this bother me though. It really is a de-motivator at times. Just to get the first ten pounds off would be a wonderful gift for me!

BSQ...good job on keepin' it steady...definitely better than up!

So...for the month of May, a gain in the end. Here's to losing it in June!

May week 4/Monthly wrap-up

I stopped joining because of frustration and disappointment during the winter. I was hungry, period. This month I lost five lbs. I am down to 127 or so depending on the scale. My waist is one inch less. My thighs are also. Even my chest is down an inch. Wow. My old jeans fit me again. I hope I can persevere. I am trying to keep busy around the house and in the neighborhood to occupy myself with activities other than cooking, baking and eating massive amounts of food mindlessly.

May week 4/Monthly wrap-up

I also stopped reporting on the 20 lbs club... because I went from have 29 lbs to loose, in January, to have 40 lbs to loose, in April But, now that I took up the Curves 6 Week Challenge, I'm (hopefully) back on track... so, lets start this again.

Oh, and for May, I'm actually drum roll 4.75 lbs down

((((BSQ)))) hang in there. Hopefully your stressors will go down during the summer season and you'll be back in control. You're such a wonderful inspiration.... and soooooo close to your goal!!! Keep going.

May week 4/Monthly wrap-up

Yes Gals, May really flew by! I am having a hard time remembering it is 2005 and here the year is half over - ACK!

I am with Sarah this month. Also up 1.5 (but kg not lbs --sigh) DH and I have been sick the past week, and I ate less than a bird - what is up with the 1.5kg gain this month?????? This week?????

Ah well, I am trying not to get discouraged - it is hard. I too would be happy to just lose 10kg. Now, Like Dany, I am up to needing to lose 20kg STILL after my 5 or so loss beginning of April.

Ah well, I will keep at it, and get my fanny in gear and keep working out, keeping busy (keeping busy is easy, it is motivating to work out when it is over 100 degrees F here!!! thats the hard part these past few days)

Good going to all of you - and those of us who are at a plateau - well, that is what this group is for - to support eachother so we DON'T forget our goal, and the only thing we lose is weight!

May week 4/Monthly wrap-up

I had a rough week - did something to my back (not sure yet, having an MRI tomorrow) and had to basically be on bed rest until today.
So, no exercise, which is the way I lose best, and eating not that great. Gained 2# - could have been worse. Just praying that my MRI doesn't show anything major and they can get my pain under control soon so I can get moving again!!!!!

Nine pounds down, 11 to to (I think!)

Well,... just call me a yo-yo.

I seem to be at 163 rather than 160 as I had hoped.

Congrats to everyone who managed to lose , even a fraction of a pound! -- and the rest of us just have to hang in there and cheer each other on!
