Morning Monday!

Where is everyone? Sleepytime or busy bees? I hope everyone is well...

Up pretty early this a.m. -- still infusing DS, so I don't get to sleep-in much... Ms. Sadie the dog and I are the only ones up -- looks like rain today (again). S. Texas got pretty pelted yesterday evening -- whew! Some folks got 7-8 inches! WOW!

I'm going to get out to go to the grocery in a few -- pick up some veggies and stuff -- gotta do an encore today for last night's dinner... am thinking of some of this really good lowfat chicken sausage we get around here - flavored with jalepeno! Maybe do up a pork tenderloin again -- this time with a different marinade -- makes for good leftovers to turn into posole later in the week...

Wish I could find a farm stand with fresh homegrown tomatoes! Just love 'em -- I tried to grow them but we just don't have enough sun in the yard and the bugs get after them...

Got some lovely strawberries yesterday! Might do something with those... we eat them up so fast!

What's everyone doing today? Hope you all are having some fun with a holiday or just having fun anyway! Going to get Rx filled for new "Femring" -- will see how that goes. Hope there is no change in my weight with the change in delivery format for the estrogen!

Ta-Ta!

Morning Monday!

HI BEST!! I hope everyone is having a good MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND
Hi Ellen, I was so glad to see your DS is on the wait list, will keep you all in prayers.
The A Frame we stayed in was so NICE, really didn't want to come home, it is in the forrest, can't really be seen from the road and what a beautiful setting. The wedding had to moved into the chapel because of the threat of rain. The reception was nice, it was a Western theme and the food was served out of a chuck wagon, and the punch was served from a water pump like our grandmothers used to have, some of the decorations were tiny cowboy boots with flowers in them. They had their 4H kids serve and they were in western wear with cowboy hats, very nice.
I was not OP at all the reception was delayed due to the father of the bride and some bridesmaids getting lost for 2 hours, so I had way too many cookies. I did do alot of work in the kitchen helping so it did curb some of my eating but oh my it was such a long time from breakfast. Anyway, we had a really nice time, and plan on going back and staying by ourselves in the A frame without DS along. Very romantic setting!
Well, now that we are home and the weekend is over it is back to being OP and following the plan.
Emily, I am going to try the 3 hour diet too. Sounds very easy to follow.
Melissa, CONGRATULATIONS!!! I hope to follow you soon into the 170's.
Well, have a great day everyone. Talk to you later.

Morning Monday!

Hi everyone. Happy Memorial Day !

Beautiful day today, and the air is clear so my spring allergies are finally leaving I usually feel it in the fall but the pollen is excessive this spring.

Despite a day of exposure to all sorts of goodies yesterday, I managed to eat mindfully and not to overload on starchy stuff, which always makes me feel like a slug when I overdo.

Today's been OP so far, too. Makes such a difference in my energy level.

Hope to take a walk after lunch or else this evening. Nighttime workouts going well.

Lunch is a sort of indoor Memorial Day picnic, with everything except the ants.

Ellen, please know that you and DS are being kept in prayer.
Margo, the wedding sounds like it was fun! Everyone needs to go OFF program once in a while!

See you all tonight or tomorrow.

Blessings.
