Anxiety, migraines and hormones

Hi everyone,

I had a TAH/BSO on March 9th. I'm 37 and have been on Premarin since then. I've been having problems with anxiety and migraines so I went back to my ob/gyn. She doesn't prescibe bio-identical or human identical hormones and doesn't think that the Premarin has anything to do with the way I'm feeling. She told me to go see a psychiatrist about my anxiet. I have had anxiety and depression most of my life but it's gotten so much worse since my surgery. I had a non-eventful surgery and was back to work in six weeks. I feel worse now then I did before I had surgery. I'm under tremendous stress at work. The position I'm in is a new one that I started in January of this year and then in Feb. is when my obgyn found out I had some extremely large cysts that had to come out so I feel like I'm starting the job all over again. I'm off today for Memorial Day and am going to my health food store to talk to them about Progesterone cream. I just feel plain lousy! My Internal med doc has me on some meds to help stop my migraines but they make my so sleepy I can't hold my head up.

Is anyone else having problems like this since surgery or am I just being a baby?

Thanks for listening.

Janice

anxiety

Hey Itllbee!
I am having trouble with anxiety too. I am on Effexor 75mg now. This seems to be helping me greatly!! Actually, I love it! However, there are some side effects and withdrawal symptoms that made me think long and hard before taking Effexor.
Let me know how you do!!
