Very Depressed

I had a complete hysterectomy in 1976. I had problems for about 6 months, and finally after going to a diagnostic clinic , a wonderful Dr told me that oral hormones were not working for me. He started me on Depotestadiol, and it was like a magic potient. I continued on with this until a year ago. I sailed through problems that would have usually crippled me before. Life was good. I never once had to take an anti-depressant. Pfizer discontinued producing it last year, and I am at the point in my life where I have a hard time coping with the smallest thing.
I have tried 3 different anti-depressants, a hormone patch, and various other meds, and I just want to sit and cry.
Does anyone know of something that is taking the place of this medication. I would owe my life to you if you do. I am at my wits end.

Del estrogen

Del estrogen is what took its place, I agree this was a wonderful estrogen injection.

It was mild, but worked very nicely. I believe its still out there, but I could be wrong, its hard to get.

When I had to switch I was switched to Del estrogen injections.

Unfortunately... it built up in my system and so I have stopped.

Im now to the point, that I tried Tibolone, and Im not sure its working well, as I have been depressed, but I cant say for sure if it had been all my meds. from surgery, I am seriously going to try the patches, I supposed vivelle.

I didnt want to have to wear anything, and cant obviously absorb pills, which put me on the shot in the first place, what a hassle this whole thing has become, and im 35 and have alot of yrs. ahead of me to deal with this crap.

I know how you feel, and Im so sorry your hurting.... but I remember that was my very first shot, and I did really like it too.

Good luck my dear.

Thank You

I am so glad someone has taken the time to at listen to me. My life is in the tiolet!! I am 67 years old, retired, and should have the world by the tail. It sounds like your problems are close to mine. The only difference is you are in your thirties, and I am in my 60's!!
Can you please tell me what you meant by buildup when you were taking the injections.
I will tell my Dr about it next time I see him. He thinks I am crazy I know. I can't even talk to him without crying.
Thanks Again
