PLEASE - Check out this great Oprah idea!!

I came across this today. "O" - the Oprah Magazine, is looking for women who have read health information on the Internet that has had a significant impact on their lives. They want to hear our stories. Wouldn't this be a wonderful way to talk about hystersisters.

If everyone can email her - maybe we can get some publicity or even a feature. - Wouldn't that be cool?

So check it out!! Send a story. Let's all get on the bandwagon and let Oprah know how wonderful hystersisters is!!

I agree 100% so I clicked and put my 2 cents in. This site has been a real blessing to me. I keep reading and thinking thank goodness I'm not the only one that feels this way. The support has been great and I hope the site does get recognition.

I replied too.
I feel that this site is the only one on the "net" that has helped me.
I visit the site daily even though I'm now back to work.
It's the first thing I do in the morning.

It seems to me that this came up a while back but I went ahead and wrote to the Oprah show again. Hope something comes of it, it'd be a great way for more women to hear about hystersisters!

I just posted to Oprah's site, I am new here to this section of threads, going in for surgery October 10th and due to endo that was found in my uterus so far, will not be taking hormones right away, I was lead to this area by one of our lovely Hostesses and I am so glad I did. Just reading the links so far has helped alliviate alot of my fears of being hormoneless!! Thanks all for all your great info!

Best of luck with your future surgery. As you can read all of us handle it differently but I'm sure gald mine is behind me. At 5 weeks I know I made the right decision. I hope this cures your migraines too. Have you been checked for allergies?

Dear Karen,

I have been tested for allergies and am currently on Claritin for them, the ragweed here right now is killing me!!! I pray that the headaches will go away when everything is removed, my said its due to my hormones so that is another reason I am afraid, what if going on the HRT causes them to come back! Well its just wait, and wait and wait, to see. I pray the next four weeks go by like a flash!

Take care,

I'm glad you had your allergies tested also. My migraines went away after I had several shots at the allergist office. I now take Extendryl Sr each day. Claritin did not get rid of my symptoms. I hope all your porblems go away real soon for you. Best of Luck
