Has anyone been told they have redundant colon?

One of my adhesion surgeries, the general surgeon told me that I had a redundant colon.
Which means your colon is very long. The surgeon said it was about 1 and a half feet too
long for my body. And girls it feels like, it feels like it is pushing on my rectum and vagina
most of the time, and it feels like it is kinked about half of the time. I think when you have
surgeries, it gets all that out of it's original order. He talk about resectioning it when I
had my enterocele repaired, but he also hesitated because he was afraid it would get
infected, and I was also afraid for anyone cutting on my colon. He could'nt promise me that
it would even help. Anybody know anything about this?
