Books and Movies to enjoy again &again

Hi,
I thought that I would love to hear from you all about the books and movies you love enough to read or watch over and over again.
I'd love to know what the book or movie is, the author or stars, how many times you've seen or read it and why this piece of material speaks to you.
Care to share?

I have a bunch but I'll start with a book:
I've read this probably 12 times.
[The Blue Castle] by LM Momtgomery (author of Anne of Green Gables) is a book I turn to when I'm feeling low. It is the story of a girl, who, through facing her fears, defies her family expectations to change her grim constrained life for one that is beautiful and more than she could have dreamed.
It is a simple book but one that I love dearly.

Hi, a movie that I enjoy seeing over and over is "Steel Magnolias". It makes me cry, but I love it. Another one is "Blazing Saddles" - totally goofy, but I laugh until I hurt!! Another movie that I just love is "Shall We Dance" - both versions. I just flat out love this movie.

I read a lot but don't usually reread much.

My absolute favorite book series is Harry Potter....yes I am an adult but these books are wonderful. The release of the sixth book is Saturday and my sons and I have been eagerly awaiting this day since the release date before Christmas. If you can get around all the excitment about the series and read them it is a wonderful story about a boy who's parents died when he was an infant. He has been mistreated all his life, when he turns 11 he finds out that he is a popular wizard and in the wizarding world everybody knows him. To read about this boy growing up and finding out so much about himself and the people around him. I have read the first five books over and over and plan to be at the midnight party to pick up book six on Friday night.

Phantom

I'm not much of a reader, but do enjoy movies. We just purchased the first 3 DVD's of the Harry Potter movies. I have watched Phantom of the Opera many times. I really enjoy the music.

I'm planning to do a marathon re-reading of Harry Potter before the final book comes out.

Now, when do you think that will be?

Harry Potter

The new book comes "officially" on Saturday. Unless you were lucky enough to be at that grocery store that inadverently sold 14 copies earlier this week. OOPS!

Oh, I know that the book 6 is coming out in one day, 15 hours and 59 minutes, according to the "Count Down" in my cell phone. A friend is sending it to me from London.

I just wonder about book 7 -- I think it's already written. Rowling wouldn't want anyone else to end the tale should something prevent her from doing it.
