2 weeks and counting...

I have two weeks till my surgery. I can't wait till it gets here. I am in so much pain. The percocet helps. I tried taking Vicodin; but it hasn't helped. The dr. says you can't mix the Percocet w/ the Vicodin, so I'll have to wait till tomorrow to go back to the Percocet. I guess I'll try the heating pad for the rest of the night.

I know I'm rambling; but I'm tired of living with the pain. I had an over the phone appointment today, it's the last step before the surgery.

My husband was notified yesterday that he will be going to Iraq. They told him this in June too and it didn't come about. I know he will have to eventually go; but I hope it's after the surgery. I need him here during the recovery period.

Thanks to everyone for listening!

Hi sister,

I too was in alot of pain before my surgery. I had to take pain med.'s also just to make it. I feel sooo much better now that it's all over with. A heating pad does help some and a hot bath might help ease some of the pain. Only a few more wks. and hopefully all your pain will be gone. Think Positive!! I also hope and pray for you that your DH gets to stay while your in recovery. You are really going to need him now. If not, I hope that there will be someone that can help you out so that you can recover well. I wish you all the best!
