Soon this will be behind you (and it won't be nearly as bad as you expected!)

eeyukk...I'm almost 8 weeks out and I can STILL taste that fleet phosphosoda. That stuff tasted like poison!

I hope I never have to drink it again.

I was so lucky that my doctor didn't require any of that post op stuff, just the normal tests at the hospital....I had no enemas, or things to drink or any of that stuff. I feel for you all that have to go through that.

Darla,
It is just downright ucky isn't it? I have to drink the Mag Citrate on a regular basis - and trust me it doesn't get any better! In the last year I have had about 4 jugs of that wonderful Go Lytley - and it doesnt get any better either!!

They didn't tell me to do a bowel prep, but because I have chronic consipation (origin unknown at this point) I am going to clean out anyway. I don't want to have to go the day after surgey. So I am just taking some extra doses of my Miralax, which is tasteless and dissolves into liquids.

My Aunt had to do a bowel prep for her gallbladder surgery, and they actually just had her do a massive dose of the Miralax. She mixed 8 doses in to 64 ounces of Gatorade. I am kinda curious why they don't do more of the Miralax since it is tasteless and it works!

Good luck tomorrow! I am the first of the day for surgery at the hospital, scheduled for 7:30. I am glad it is early so I dont have to wait around all day!

Good luck with your visit to the Castle tomorrow! I feel for you having to drink the Go-Lightly; I had the same and still don't know how I drank it all.
It was just about worse than the surgery!
May you be blessed with an easy recovery.
