lump diagnosis - Inguinal hernia

Hi all! I posted a little while ago about a lump I found in the groin area a few weeks ago. I finally went to my family doctor and the diagnosis is an Inguinal hernia. At this point I have no idea if it's related to my surgery, but I have been referred to a surgeon and hope to know more in a week. I'll keep you all posted. In the meantime I'd be curious to know if any of you have experience with this.

Hi

I am sorry you have this problem. I have not had this, but there have been some with hernias here.

I hope you get some answers to help you get this taken care of so you can complete your healing.

You might do a Search(top right hand corner of page) and put in hernia and see what threads come up to view.

lump diagnosis - Inguinal hernia

My new GYN and a general surgeon both thought I had a hernia post-op. I was scheduled to have it repaired while I was having the Monarc Hammock put in (7 months p/o). Turned out there was no hernia; rather a bunch of adhesions that was mimicking hernia symptoms.
