Feeling of great amount of heat and burning sensation when hands are placed on belly

Has anyone else experienced this? I noticed it before my Lap Hysterectomy for fibroids (uterus only) and thought it would go away. The heat is only felt when hands are placed anywhere on belly. I feel great most of the time. Surgery was 2 1/2 weeks ago. For the last several days though, I've been dealing with an intense headache that includes nausea, no vomiting. Anyone else? Thank you for any input.

Can't say I had the heat, but I did have some Reiki done a few weeks ago and a lot of heat came from my abdominal area. Perhaps you are sensitive to the chakras like Reiki practitioners are???? Who knows!
The headaches - yes. I think they are hormonally related. I had them gradually getting worse before surgery and have had them again on a monthly type cycle since - they are getting worse each time. Having said this, I am not a doctor and perhaps it is best to get yourself checked out. I know I really should as well.
Good luck with your recovery. I hope it is as quick and uneventful as mine has been (mostly)

Feeling of great amount of heat and burning sensation when hands are placed on belly

The skin on my belly felt like it was burned and very sensitive but it wasn't hot. I posted this during the past week and got some very good responses.

I have never gotten the headache, but we see it talked about a lot. I think you need to ask your dr about it. There's a good article on Post Hysterectomy Headaches . This one is actually a discussion that took place between some members who had this same problem.
You said you noticed this heat even before your surgery? I just can't imagine what would cause this. Did you ask your dr about it?
I hope you'll be able to make an adjustment to your hormones and will be feeling better soon.
