Anyone have success with Lupron for Endo

Hi! Thanks all for your advice. I just wanted to give you an update.

I saw my gyn Thursday after having my ultrasound on Wednesday. I have a cyst on my left ovary, nothing showed up on the right side were I have the most pain. My blood work is all fine.

I told him I did not want to take Lupron and due to migraines, we decided birth control at this point would not be my best interest--my pelvic pain is not horrendous at this point but it is starting to get on my nerves!

So, we are playing the waiting game for the moment. I will be monitoring my pain and my bowel situation over the next three months, then I will see him in December. Of course, he stressed several times, if my pain increases I am to call right away.

Due to all my complications after my hyst, my gyn feels I am allergic to scalpes and does not want to do surgery on me unless he has to! So, he is not eager to just do a lap to see what is happening unless I am in agony. And with endo on my bowel walls, I am in a "touchy" situation as it is major if they have to do work in that area. I have looked some for an endo specialist in my area but haven't found anyone that is specifically an endo specialist. My gyn has been highly recommended and is an excellent surgeon, so I am trusting him at this point. If however, anyone knows of an endo specialist anywhere in Central California, I am open to hearing about them.

Thanks again for all your input. From what I have read and you have said, I am not in enough pain to risk the side affects of Lupron!
