Just wondering

I have read some of the women speak of urinary spasm. I'm not sure if that's what I have, but I have been experiencing some of the same symptons. I had a supracervical hysterectomy back on July 29th and I've been to the drs since then. I spoke of this sensation I was having once I pass my urine. Since a cathera was used during my procedure it caused a shock to my urine tract and it would take a little time to recover. I was told to drink plenty of water and I have, but the problem still presists occassionally. I return to the drs on Wednesday and I hope the issue is resolved by then. I'm doing fairly well, but have the darnest time getting to sleep at night. I maybe fall off to sleep between 1-3 in the morning and sleep until 12 noon. I no longer need the pain meds, but it seems that a night when I want to lay down and rest my insides have something else in store for me. I seem to rest so much better when I lay on my right side, but I was told that laying on the left side is best. Oh heck I just don't know. I do know that this is a slow process for me, but GOD knows best and I'm trying to be as patient as possible through the process. I would greatly appreciate hearing back from you all especially those who can relate. Thanks to all and have a BLESSED day.
