Sharing HOPE; Molly's story found in "Cancer, Stories of Courage"

Thank you so much for sharing your stories. Awe is the only word I can find to describe the way I feel about you strong women. God has blessed us with all of you and I am so grateful to be a witness to that!

Thank you so much for your post Molly. Everything you talked about is so true in my life. I was diagnosed with endometrial cancer last June (not even a month after my 31st birthday) and had my uterus and ovaries removed on July 26th. For the longest time I felt so alone. Luckily I found this GREAT site! I came here prior to surgery and had so many of my questions answered I felt so great going into surgery. I had no fears.

Now I am 9 months post-op and you know I feel so much better about my life. Like you everyone has noticed the change in me. I used to fly off the handle at every little thing. Now things don't really bother me as much as they used to. Although, I have to admit, there are times when things do get to me, but then I think who cares! Life is to short to get upset about the dumb little things. Just enjoy life!! Thanks again for your post its very reasurring to know that I am not alone.

These shared stories are great. I have 12 external radiation treatments to go, then one 30 hr. in hospital internal session.Looking forward to getting this behind me. I'm really having a tough time with depression at the moment, which I think is because of the Megace. Fighting to continue to lose the weight, walking every day. Don't know why I feel this way - I've been doing great. Could be the Megace, and one of my Drs. has increased the Celexa (antidepressant) from 20 to 40mgs. I know it takes it awhile to work, so I'm sure I'll feel better soon. The perineal burning is bothersome, and I'm working hard on taking in enough water. The frequent urination, and the pain from it - externally as well as internally gets to me. Also, so little energy. Yet I know this will pass, everything's going to be fine.
