Getting discouraged

HI I'm new at this whole thing. First I had a bad pap , then Ihad a colposcopy, then i had a leep then i had more biopsy from an oncologist, that i am currantly waiting for results. My gyn suggested a hyster because of severe menstrual along with the cin111 that was found far up in the uterine canal. The GYN/onc did a couple of biopsies that he ran out of there so fast that i dont even know what they were for.Gyn onc said it was not a serious thing and suggested to wait and see or do a cone biopsy. These heavy periods are dibilitating.I dont understand how the two diagnosis can be so different.I think that these doctors dont know anything and I feel like just forgetting the whole thing and just leaving it up to the lord . Whatever happens , happens .Any one else feel this way?

yep, I agree, you just haven't found the right Dr. Please Don't ever give up & do nothing. Trusting in the Lord is a wonderful thing, and it will give you strength. But you also need to trust in medical science. With both, you will get through this.

Maybe another opinion is in store for you. It is not always easy to know the right thing to do. Coming here and talking about things is also a big help.

Keep looking til you find the right doctor. Don't settle for less than someone you can trust your life with.

Have you gotten any results back from the biopsies yet?

Thanks for your support.I am I wouil think if you have something that the doctors would agree on it .I,ve seen four doctors and every one contradicts the other and sometimes there selves.I dont go to the doctors very often as it is .I,ll keep calling in for a renew on my prescriptions until they finally catch on that its been a year since they saw me.Ive had too many bad experiences where doctors have been wrong.I have a hard time trusting them i guess. oH well i feel like an idiot talking about this when there are so many others who are not as lucky as myself to be so healthy.I,m just having a bad day sorry

Hi, We're here for you bad day or good one. It is difficult when one has had bad experiences in the past with doctors; certainly makes trusting very difficult. Seems also like presently you may have a number of different med problems going on.
Given the CIN III dx, it was good that you saw a gyn/onc. While the waiting for test results is always very difficult, hopefully the results will show there is nothing to worry about at least from the cancer aspect. Then you can address your other medical concerns.
You said your gyn suggested a hysterectomy; I guess the meds you are on may not be working well and if so perhaps she can find other alternatives or you can consider the surgery. It is your body so once you get the facts you'll be able to make the best decision for you. If you do not trust you gyn, perhaps a family member or close friend can recommend another or if need be a gyn/onc for you to see.
Pls don't ignor your medical problems; sure we need to trust in the good Lord but IMHO He also blessed us with physicians to tend to us and there are many good ones out there and I know you'll find one. Pls let us know how your tests come out and how you are doing.
Hope tomorrow is a much better day for you too.

Yes, I did feel that way too. (If you read my journal, you'll see everything I've been going through.) But today, I decided to do what needs to be done and get on with my life so I can enjoy it and not have to worry about this anymore. And that's what I'm going to do!

So, hang in there. You'll get through this. You will!

My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Big s,

Lisa
