Made it home

Well hope all the other oct 12th sisters made it home ok. My surgery went well. They took out my cath but I couldnt go so I had to have it put back in home with it now. Nurse was showing me how to put on the leg bag and I wore it home well took a nap and about 5 hours later still no pee in the bad and was in severe pain. Bladder about to burst so got home sat morning was going to emergency sat afternoon. Turned out the nurse put my bag on upside down so the pee would not drain into the bag. Other than that everything is going pretty good. Pain not to bad still a tad bleeding but not bad. My insiscion is about 7 inches long. but bikini cut. Anywhoo starting to get tired will talk more and going to the other side. Everyone with surgeries coming up hope all goes well for you too. Except the bag thing

home.
I'm sorry that you had a problem and had to make a trip to the ER. I'm happy that it was an easy to fix problem.

Take care: get lots and lots of rest, take short easy walks

See you over in post op soon

Hi Jan,
Glad that you are at home. Sorry for the cather bag problem and that a trip to er was necessary. Take care
and get plenty of rest and drink plenty of fluids and of course take short walks. My surgery is tomorrow and as this day progresses I am getting more anxious to have it over.

Don't ask me why, but I anticipate that I'll be bringing home the bag too. I hope I don't, but I probably will.

Sorry to hear that you had to go to the emergency room.
