will my husband be the next Job

I'm so down today. Thank you for all the past messages about our daughter. I felt fine yesterday, mostly. . . my dog is missing today. My uterus is swollen, my head hurts. I feel like I know I'm going to die in surgery and my poor husband won't get through all of this. He is taking our daughters stupidity very hard. We tried our best, we became Christians when our son was a toddler because we wanted God to give them the best life possible. Nothing has worked. Our son is a dedicated young man, but a disappointment in way for my husband because he has no ambition (although he does work and support himself not too badly -- we still help him out quite a bit, although he never asks for it). My husband and I both have a very strong work ethic. I don't know what I'd do if I couldn't come to this message board.

Sapphira,

Here are some gentle heartfelt s , s for you. You are carrying so much stress and pain, say these words right now, "God, please help me to give it all to you!" there is a scriptures I would also like to share with you:

Psalm 55:22

22 Cast thy burden upon the Lord, and He shall sustain thee: He shall never suffer the righteous to be moved.

Philippians 4 :13

13 I can do all things through Christ Jesus which strengtheneth me.

Also here is one of my favorite prayers, It it brings you some comfort too:

Prayer Of Serenity

God grant me the Serenity to accept
The things I cannot change.
Courage to change the things I can.
Wisdom to know the difference.

Sapphira, I am glad that you can come here and find some peace through ecouragement and prayer.God loves you and so do we.

will my husband be the next Job

Hi Sapphira: Big Hugs sent your way. You will be in my thoughts and prayers as we both head to the castle on 11/9. I am having a TAH/BSO. Here's hoping all goes well with both of us! Hubby will come around when you become the Princess. Just remember that YOU NEED YOUR REST in order to heal properly. I am very fortunate that I have a great husband who cooks, cleans and even does laundry and does this all quite well. HANG IN THERE, most men pick up the pieces even though they just don't get it at first. My Best friends just had surgery Mid Sept (total Hip replacement) and has one of those Husbands that just didn't get it. She is resting and living it up as she watches him struggle with the 3 kids homework, lunches, dinners and laundry. Now he knows what she does and now has his full attention! He will come around just remember to look out for #1 first - YOU! Take care
