Yeast infection?

Will the doctor still perform my hyst if I have a yeast infection at the time? I have one from some antibiotics I had to take and it won't seem to go away! I've take two Diflucan in the past couple of weeks and it still isn't GONE.

Anyone have any info here? Thanks!

Yeast infection?

(((newbodyplz))),

This is a question that you really need to ask your Dr for a couple of reasons. 1. Your Dr is the only one who knows where he draws his line. 2. If you have a persistant yeast infection it needs to be further treated.

I hope you get it healed up soon.

Kay

Yeast infection?

Thanks Kay! I am going to try and remember to ask him when he lets me know my surgery date, but I am so forgetful that I wanted to see if anyone here knew what the procedure could be for it, because I will most likely forget to ask!

Yeast infection?

I had a minor yeast infection when I had my surgery. I also took 2 Diflucan the week prior and I was still a little itchy down there the day of surgery. I had a LAVH, so they cleaned me down there with some bacteria killing stuff. When I woke up from surgery, there was no more itching. It worked! If I ever have another yeast infection, I want that stuff!

You should still ask your doctor just to make sure.

Best of luck to you!

Yeast infection?

Wow! That sounds like some fantastic stuff tjaneb!! I want some of that too!!

I will ask my doctor when he calls to tell me when my surgery date is set for. I am getting so tired of waiting!

Thanks for sharing your story because that makes me feel better about it not being completely cleared up yet. I'm hoping he's gonna tell me it will be next week some time.

Thanks again!!

Yeast infection?

I know, that stuff sounds awesome!

Do you know what kind of surgery you're having? With vaginal delivery of the uterus, they always clean you with that stuff. I don't know about abdominal hysts. though.

I hope that they don't delay you because of that! I wish you lots of luck!
