bowel problems

I've had to see so many Dr.s over the past 5 years because of the chronic pain, trying to find the source of
the problem, and they are the ones that were the most
judgemental, as soon as they saw on my paperwork what
I was taking, they would start to have an attitude.
But Dr.s don't have a problem with giving people medicine for high cholesterol, depression, nicotine patches, and plenty of other drugs that are liver busters. I guess they think we are going to feel TOO
good or something, little do they know that half the
time what we take is still not enough, and to feel
so vunerable, and worry about how we are going to
manage with our jobs and families. My family knows
that I have to take it, but as far as I know nobody has
said anything about it.

bowel problems

Thanks so much for the support I sure have needed it lately. My self esteem is in the toilet with the rest of me! I talked to one of my closest oldest friends the other day and she asked what happened to me. That I was just not my usual self. Made me stop and think a minute.

I have been feeling better after a round of antibiotics so it may have been a diverticulitis. I still have a colonoscopy scheduled. I did go out to dinner the other night and started having problems right away with pain and some vomiting so maybe I am not tolerating something I'm eating. Who knows.

You sisters have been wonderful. I can't thank you enough for your support and stories. It is nice to know someone else gets it.

bowel problems

Hi Robbie,
Is it possible you have developed a food allergy?
Maybe dairy or wheat?
I can't tolerate cream in coffee, or yogurt after the hyst. I also had
severe left sided pain that shaped up with Betaine HCL , enzymes, and acidopholus.
Don't let the neighbor thing get to you. I've met more
overly sensitive and overly vicious people this year. Weird!

They're probably on different kind of meds!!
take care. Jesus is Lord.

Robbie
I am sorry that you continue to have these problems. I can relate. I have many food allergies and a messed up digestive system. Keeping a food diary may prove to be very helpful. It may help to pinpoint if there are certain foods that are causing some of your problems.

Before the hyst I became lactose and wheat intolerant. After the hyst my food allergies have increased tenfold. The list is way too long to list here.

Best wishes on the colonscopy. For me, the prep was the hardest part of the test. I hope all goes well for you.
