Hey everyone,

Well today I am one week and one day.. And I feel like crying and then I will be wanting to yell. How can you do this? How can you ride the roller coaster and get off sane? I had bad mood swings before, and had hormonal imbalance before the surgery, but I guess in my head I thought I would be all better.. So now I sit here alone.. trying not to burst into tears... HELP....

Awww, here's a to help you feel better. I'm sorry you're not feeling so well right now. The early days and weeks of recovery can be a time of hormone fluctuations as your body adjusts to losing the stored hormones your ovaries made and to the new source of estrogen, plus you are still healing and recovering from major surgery.

I read on another thread of yours that you just changed your patch. Which patch are you using? I'm on Vivelle Dot which is changed every 3 1/2 days and have found it's very important to be consistent about making those patch changes on time. Another popular one is Climara, which is changed once a week.

I hope you find as you get further into your recovery that your hormone levels settle and you start having more good days than bad. Please do keep in contact with your doctor if things don't improve so any necessary hormone adjustments can be made. I think it's probably too early to consider any changes just yet.

I'm sending comforting s!!
