6 months post op:emotional wreck!

I haven't posted in a long time. I had a pretty uneventful TVH (kept ovaries). I kept seeing my GYN up to 10 weeks for silver nitrate, but no complications.
I am crying a lot lately. It occurred to me the other day that maybe it has something to do with hormones. I did just move and this is my first year teaching (1st grade), but sometimes I can't keep from crying at work and that's not like me. Any other sisters feel this way so long after surgery? It could be stress, but sometimes I become so sad when I remember that I won't have another baby. Am I alone?

Hi dsnylnd freak! Have you talked with your doctor about all these feelings? It's possible it's hormonal at this point. I'd recommend giving your doctor a call, make an appointment and let them know everything that is going on.
I suffered with severe anxiety attacks for quite sometime before finally asking my doctor about them. I actually thought I was just losing it. Turned out it was real and I got some real help. I'm so glad I did.
Let us know what you find out from the doctor.
Take care!

6 months post op:emotional wreck!

Hey
I am a 6 month post op and going through the same thing. I tend to cry alot more, I was told I was possibly having Anxiety Attack symptoms: hart racing ,dizzy, light headed, feeling like I cant breath, to the point I almost fainted !! Then getting real hot. I also have been getting ringing ion my ears . I cant sleep at night. I tend to get quite nervous before bed time.
I spoke to my GP office and the nurse said she thinks it is Anxiety Attacks brought on by my menopause. Had everything removed but my cervix abdominaly. She told me to call my OB. I did and have an apppointment on the 29th.
My mother said that I have to understand that my body whent through a major change !! And at a young age, I am 39. It takes a toll on you.
Make a appointment to see your OB> !!
I hope you feel better !!!!!!!!!
Lots of Love
