I did it ! I got my milk!

I did it! I got my milk! I tried to drive to the store 2 days ago and buy some milk. I was 2 weeks post-op TAH/BSO. I was so exhausted from driving a half a block I couldn't get out of the car. I realized I was too much for me. I drove home without my milk.

Well, 2 days later I tried again for milk. I took my 11 year old son with me this time. I not only got that milk but I also got a few other things that I needed. My son unpacked the car and put everything away too. I do have to admit that I needed to rest on the couch after my outing but my kids can now have cereal in the morning.

Isn't amazing how we can have good days and bad days. I understand the saying two steps forward, one step back. :dance2:

Hi GKnee,

Well done isn't that first sense of achievement and freedom wonderful. I'm glad you have your milk, your children have cereal and best of all the children are being helpful.

Yes some days it does feel like 2 steps forward and 1 step back but you know it does get better.

Take care.........Karen
