My Sweet Revenge.....

Hello to you all. It has been a little while since posting, I have been soooo busy! I am just past 6 months post op and had my final post op appt. last week.....I LOVED IT! It was my sweet revenge and all I had to do was nothing!

Let's call my Surgeon (ob/gyn) Dr....Dr. S
Let's call my Miracle Dr (New Dr)....Dr. M

Dr. S did my surgeries and while I continued to have pain he told me it was all in my head this was around 20/21 weeks post op. Told me he couldn't do anything for me, it will just have to take time!

2 days after seeing Dr. S I went to Dr. M, he found granulation tissue that covered my whole vaginal cuff. He treated me with silver nitrate woke up the next day...TOTALLY Pain Free. Was able to a few days later have Sex finally PAIN FREE! Told me if I continue to have pain he was going to run test on me for possible trapped nerve in vaginal cuff.

Here's my sweet revenge. After being treated by New Dr. I went back to Dr. S for my last visit with him. I never did tell him I saw New Dr. M who treated me for granulation tissue. Dr. S said, " are totally healed, and that was quick healing in 3 weeks. I really am surprised by your progress. Have you engaged in Intercourse." I said, "Yes about 2 weeks ago DH and I started having sex again and I am pain free." He said, "Okay your all set I won't need to see you for a year!" I said BYE....went to the desk transferred my medical records to my New Dr. M.

Two weeks later I see my New Dr. M. When he walks in the door he says, "Saw Dr. S last week, he told me I was going to see a patient of his next week. Dr. S said he had performed a total hysterectomy, you ended back up in the hospital with post op infection, painful sex, came back at 16 weeks performed granuloma surgery and still complaining of pain." My new Dr. M said to Dr. S, "Ohhh yea! I saw her a few weeks ago and treated her for granulation tissue, her whole vaginal cuff was covered in it." I said, "I just saw Dr. S a couple of weeks ago and never mentioned that I saw another Dr. and was treated for granulation, Dr. S did say how surprised he was at how fast I healed in 3 weeks." My new Dr. M said with a hugh smile, "Well he did look awfully puzzled when I told him I had already seen you, I think he knows now why you look so good and have your sex life back." We just laughed, and I thought "I FINALLY GOT MY SWEET REVENGE on my Dr. S who told me my pain was all in my head and do I want a anti-depressant!" Gosh I love it, but I sure do wish I was a fly on the wall to see DR. S puzzled face! Dr. M also questioned Dr. S if he ever tested me possible trapped nerve, said he never thought of it...well heck he told me I didn't have granulation tissue either, so why would he think of possible trapped nerve! GREAT SURGEON, bad post op Dr.

My Sweet Revenge.....

Good for you! Mostly I'm happy that you are finally pain free, but it's also nice to hear that "Dr. S" got a wake up call.
