LAVH Dec. 16, Fri...have ???'s

Hello everyone! I am new to the group and experience. I am scheduled for a LAVH on Dec. 16th, this friday. I just found out yesterday, so like many of you, I have many emotions and questions. My doctor doesn't like surprises in surgery so he wanted me to have a biopsy and scope done before hand. I have two so called "cysts" in my uterus. My dr. was hoping to take a look at them to get a better idea of what they were. I had one , one day and 5 days later there was another. I also have several cysts on my ovaries, however he said that are nothing to worry about.

I went in to have an endometrial biopsy and hysteroscopy today and my dr. was unable to do it. He even tried dilating my cervix and wasn't successful at that either. I have had 2 LEEP procedures + several other types of proc. done for cervical cancer, endometrial ablation in 2003 as well. My dr. thought maybe it was because of the previous proc. that he was not able to gain access to the cervix.
Has this happened to anyone else and what was the outcome?
Also I'm trying to decide if I should keep my ovaries...any suggesstions? I'm 30 and blessed with 4 squirrely kids from God!

I'm sorry I can't answer your questions about your leep procedure. I hope someone can come along and answer that question for you.

I just wanted to say if your ovaries are healthy and there is no medical need to remove them then don't!

Sorry things are not going so well with your procedures at the moment. I am sure you will find lots of answers to your post on here, I am 39 and kept my ovaries as they were healthy and docs said I still had a few more years use out of them!

I had LAVH last week and I kept my ovaries due to my age.(I'm 30 like you) My Dr. did some clean up on one, so I got to keep them.
I had the LEEP procedure done 2 years ago and didn't have any problems with it.
