big case of nerves, big day 12/19/05

I'm scheduled for tomorrow morning too! I think my husband would have liked to pull my pieces out through my throat...I've been so cranky and nasty. I know it's just nerves but I don't like being that way.

I've ordered Christmas dinner (did you know Honey Baked ham puts together a whole dinner that they'll deliver to my door?). Everything's bought that's getting bought and they'll have to help wrap each other's presents. I got my expense report done and submitted. The only thing I haven't gotten finished is the Christmas cards. They may arrive a little late...

People have said that the timing for this must be hard. I look at it this way...I'm going to be pampered through the holidays (instead of killing myself like I usually do)...not only that the pampering can continue for 6-8 weeks. I normally travel for work. I'll be working from home instead of traveling between Cleveland and Chicago during the worst part of the winter. I'm planning on working in my jammies with a fire burning...

I'm trying to figure out what I can have removed next year!

I know what all of you mean about having butterflies!
I know it is in God's hands because all things have worked out going toward the date.
with Auntie Flo due the day before surgery, I am already miserable and wanting even more to get it over with and start feeling good.
God bless all of you and a speedy recovery.

I am a type A++, control freak, do-it-all person myself. The biggest lesson I learned from my hyst is the humility that comes with learning to accept help. At first I HATED having my husband help me walk around ,cook, clean, shop, do errands, etc. and I thought my business, work, and my entire life would go to hell in a handbasket. Well, it didn't. Six weeks later I am thrilled at the results of my hyst, and grateful to my husband, family, and friends (and my dogs, too!) who helped me get though it. And no, I didn't lose my business or my job, or go broke, or have a nervous breakdown because I had to lie in the sidelines while others did things for me. I feel so blessed to have people who love me and are willing to help.
Praying is a very good thing. it helped me make my decision and it helped me get through my hyst with flying colors.
BTW I just gift-wrapped all my leftover tampons and I'm giving it to a friend with heavy periods for Christmas!
