I'll be thinking of you on 1/11! (Well, maybe on 1/12. I might be a little preoccupied on 1/11. :-))

I'm glad that I found these forums. I know it will all work out.

Good luck to you, too.

I'm so glad to hear that

I had VERY litlle to no pain. I tired easily for a while, but that was nothing compared to how I was before the TVH.
Everyone heals differently. According to my doctor, a TVH is easier then an TAH. you still need to rest and be very careful the first 6 weeks. Rest alot and drink plenty of fluids.
Im sure you will be just fine ! I hope you resolve the issues of getting your children somewhere so you can have this surgery,
Best Wishes !
I'm really glad to hear that. I just read the abbreviations to make sure, and a TVH is exactly what my doctor described to me yesterday. I am so glad that I won't have to worry about cervical cancer anymore.

Yesterday I was talking to a friend and she said that she had a TVH and her mom had a TAH and her mom recovered more quickly. So, I guess that different people have different results.

I am very optimistic about the surgery itself. I've had a c-section, a colposcopy, and a diagnostic laporoscopy. I think this is probably going to be more intense than any of those.

I am just so hopeful that I will recover and I won't be in this constant pain for the rest of my life. I can put up with a little more suffering if it means not suffering for the rest of my life the way I am now.

My mom had a TVH because of fibroids and she said the same thing, that it didn't hurt much but she felt worn out.

Thanks for the positivity.
