Gross-but what is it?

Does anybody have the problem where they feel like they are leaking...and this fluid stuff (colorless-but with an odor) *here's the gross part* seems to be in your bumm's crack... I know not the best choice of words...but the only way I can describe it...

Gross-but what is it?

I did not think I was having a discharge until I noticed my panties wet and they smelled. I put on a panty liner and sure enough I AM having a discharge but it is colorless but NOT odorless!
I do hope to hear this is normal.....

Gross-but what is it?

Ladies if you look under the post op tab there is an article there called "vaginal--what's this weird odor?". It says that the odor can be caused by dissolving stitches and other fluids including old blood that may be hanging around.
The article also goes on to say that if the odor is strong or "fishy", or if a lot of pain and tenderness and/or fever (my addition) is accompanying it, let your doctor know.
I went to that post-op tab and read every article that was there, save a very few. I would suggest reading them as they are very informative and contain appropriate warnings of when to call your doctor. It has helped me know what to expect and answered many questions. Hugs to both of you and I hope you both continue progressing on the road to recovery!

Gross-but what is it?

Hi mermaid,
I'm not sure what is happening here, but it doesn't sound normal to me. I think it would be wise to call your dr and ask about this one. I think if this were normal discharge you would know.
I hope it turns out to be a simple explanation. Please let us know what you find out.

Gross-but what is it?

i thought mine smelled like baby poop. a friend was here with her child, i thought the child had a poopy diaper. when they left, i realized the horrible smell was me. i asked my best friends to honestly tell me if they could smell me...i was embarrassed to be around anyone. they promised they were being honest (they sniffed around me! gotta love the girlfriends) and said they couldn't smell what i was smelling!
