Uhm, I think everyone looks different, so you cannot go by what one person's 'normal' is. You should have looked before I guess. ; )

Kathy123, if you had abdominal surgery, as your signature indicates, without any intrusion into your external vaginal area, what types of changes are you expecting to see? Unless you had external repairs of some kind in vulvar area, your body should not appear any differently.

Outwardly, your anatomy will not look different having had a hysterectomy.
I do not think womens' anatomy looks that vastly different from person to person. Having been a postpartum nurse, a labor and delivery nurse and then a high risk maternity nurse for 8 years, Ithink I can safely say I've seen many women and the basic look"down there" is the same for everyone. I am sure if you searched the web, you could find some female anatomy pictures that would give you an idea. Or better yet get out a mirror, because it really is a good idea for you to know what your "normal" anatomy looks like.

Gosh Kathy,

Mine looks terrible and NOT the same. It's (the scar) long, ugly and super puffy over the incision. I know it's going to go away and the swelling will shrink, but hey, it's not a pretty sight!!!!!

What does yours look like?

If I could draw a picture for you, it would be a smiley face with a sad mustach on top!! hahahaha!!!!!
