Janet, best wishes in your search. I would keep trying! The odd thing is that for me it was 3 different Anesthesiologists that pushed for me to have a spinal versus general because of my history of asthma and post-op neusea. They called my GYN to push for it since she wanted me to have a general. I will never do surgery another way unless the procedure is above the waist and it would be impossible. I wish you the best!

I am now 4 weeks post-op and feeling pretty good. I got a nasty chest and head cold right after surgery that I have been fighting and had to take medication for, but that is past now. I return to work in 2 weeks and now feel about 80% to normal. Take care!
