Death During Op

I can totally relate to your fears. I put off having a hyster for 7 years because I was afraid (terrified actually) that I would not wake up.

Well I had my surgery 2 years ago this month and I am so glad I did. I prayed and had others praying for me. I will pray for you too.

Death During Op

I'm going to the castle this Thursday. I feel very calm with all the support I am getting from my family and friends. I have tried to discuss the possibility of death with DH but I could see pain in his eyes whenever I try to talk about it. So, I have backed off. I'm still signing the Living Will just in case. I've been reading a lot on this site and it has been very helpful. I'm really glad death rates from hyst surgery are very small. Olia was right.
