Incision Support

I remember after my classic c-section that the worst thing was lack of abdominal support. Always feeling like my guts were going to fall out. Plus, I carried a pillow around for awhile and in the car. I have a sneaking suspicion that this will happen again after surgery. Anyone recommend any products/belts that provide support but do not complicate recoup time?

i recieved an elastic band in the hospital that had velcro for a closure. it was about a foot or so wide. worked wonders for me. took it off to take showers and put it back on right after the shower. that was the only time it was off for about 4 weeks. great support. was offered by my gyn in hosp. would be worth asking about. i also splinted with a pillow for about a week when i needed to get up or had to cough
