lower back pain rectocele

Hi everyone,
I have lower back pain that is very sore in the mornings, depending on how I sleep I really hurt moving around, but as I move about during the morning and during/after exercise it pretty much goes away. I have some arthritis in my hip already and I have had back pain on and off all my adult life.
However, could a rectocele also cause such pain? I have one of those too. Just wondered if anyone else has pain with that problem. It would make sense.
Thanks, LCP

I guess I could say that repairing the rectocele indirectly helped my back. I had semi-severe back pain for years and thought perhaps the rectocele repair would solve the problem. Sure enough, for four weeks after surgery my back pain was gone! (No, it wasn't due to all the pain meds either because I wasn't on those for four weeks.) Coincidentally, it was also four weeks before I was able to sit again. Once I was able to sit, the back pain returned. I finally started trying to analyze how I sit. Apparently I'm in the habit of sitting on my tailbone instead of my buttocks. I've made great strides in improving the way I sit, and my back pain is far less now.
