I called the Dr for my sore throat!

Hoping you're feeling better very, very soon. It's no fun to be , especially this close to your castle visit.

Take those meds, and get plenty of this weekend! We're all pulling for you.

I called the Dr for my sore throat!

Deana,

I am glad you are on top of that sore throat. Your body does most of it's healing while you are sleeping, so make sure you get plenty of sleep between now and your surgery. Drink lots of water too.

Kay

I too am glad you called your Dr. I was bragging to you about not catching the cold that was all around me by taking Air Born. Guess what, the cold caught me. Am back taking air born to help lessen symptoms. I am lucky I have 11 days to go to get over this but will call my Dr. next week if it isn't getting better. Good luck to you. Hope you are well for your trip to the castle. Get plenty of rest.

Sugrmack:
Sorry to hear that your cold caught up to you, but like you said, you have 11 days to get rid of it. I actually don't feel too bad in the evenings, it's the mornings that I feel crappy and of course I have to be at the castle wednesday at 745am! I've been taking it easy today, which I hardly ever do, have not been outside today at all (Ohio weather today, cold and rainy/snowy) and no plans on partying in the New Year.
Good luck to you on the 11th.

Well, that's great! I know EXACTLY why they don't want you sick on surgery day from my own experience! All I did was cough up phlegm for a few days afterward! THAT was from the anesthetic I think, because I wasn't sick going in! That would have made the cough much worse.
Good stuff you got meds!
Good luck to you!

I called the Dr for my sore throat!

Hi Seasentinel!
This is the 3rd surgery in a row that I got a sore throat or cold a week before. I tend to wonder myself if it's stress related. Luckily, I was able to fool the dr. bothe timesand say that I felt fine or that it was just "allergies". I have been taking it easy this weekend, staying inside (Ohio weather...cold and rainy/snowy)!
I had a girlfriend tell me about Zicam. It is suppose to shorten the length of a cold. I've been taking that too since Wednesday!
Good luck.

I called the Dr for my sore throat!

It does seem odd to me that so many people are having the same symtoms, even here in the UK i have a terribly sore throat and cold symptoms, and only a week to go till my op, but everyone around me has a cold, touch wood so far nothing has materialised, i think mine could be anxiety related, lets hope so, i don't want a cold either. Good luck every and big hugs to you all. Fi xxx
