hubby and I want to adopt

Thanks ladies for all the input. I was looking into foster care as well. But dh told me the other night that he doesn't want to foster a child he wants to adopt one. I know that we are going to do this. But it will take time. I was told that we aren't even going to start the ball rolling until next year! I hate it when dh makes decisions and doesn't include me on it. MEN

hubby and I want to adopt

Just wanted to say hang in there on the wait, and good luck. Just another quick suggestion!! When dh and I started the process, I did all the leg work and got all of the documents necessary for us to compile and sign. I didnt pressure him once I had everything. I just told him it was there when we were both ready. Lo and behold, he was ready a lot sooner than I thought he would be. We had such a blast putting together our portfolio for the potential birthparents. It brought us so much closer during an otherwise kinda stressful time in our lives. Just my 2 cents!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Are you guys going domestic or international?

hubby and I want to adopt

we are looking into adopting a foster child. I was told that there are ways to do this. I was also told that it was way cheaper. A lady I know got a little girl from dhs through foster care for about 1100. I don't want to admit that money is a factor, but we are not able to take out a loan or anything like that.
