Going in for bladder testing today, nervous!

I'm going to have a test done this a.m. on my bladder. I guess it's to see if I have overactive bladder, if it's going to need to be tacked, or in a sling. I'm not really sure! All I know is I asked my gyn when we scheduled surgery if I would need my bladder taken care of, because of leaking problems I have now. She said if that is to be done, this dr. I'm going to will do that. What will they do? I had dreams about them putting a catheter in and it hurt, and she said when it stopped hurting they would start the testing! yikes! I'm not a chicken either, but for some reason I'm freaking over this test! I'm such a spaz...

Going in for bladder testing today, nervous!

I have had several different test on my bladder, and none of them have been to bad. I take Detrol LA for an overactive bladder, have had problems with that for years which my urologist couldn't figure out......But I found out that I have endo. and some of it is on my bladder wall, so I think that is part of my bladder problem and am hoping that when I have my TAH it will help that problem a little bit as well!!!! But try not to get overly nervous (yeah right) but like I said, I have had probably every test there is, and none of them were bad!!!
Best wishes to you!!!!

OH gosh thanks! That means a lot just knowing someone who has had testing of that nature done. I can't wait for my surgery, but it's all that it's taking to get there that makes me a wreck. Thanks for your fast reply!

Take care!
